"Why do you collect Autumn leaves?" They ask.
"Why do you not?" I ask.
There is a deep beauty and wisdom to Autumn leaves. They do their work and fall off silently looking beautiful, graceful and dainty. They just do not disappear into the abyss of nowhere. They stay there, nourishing the Mother Earth to feed trees in the difficult, cold times. They leave with the gift of life to the trees.They do not leave the trees barren.They leave on their baby leaves, secured warmly in tiny buds,snugly perched on the branches. The Autumn leaves are my favourite kind. The exuberance they create before leaving is the food for humanity and Nature. They are just amazing!! I love Fall. It uplifts my soul. It uplifts the soul of the Mother Earth. They are beautiful and I love to collect them because they are a powerful reminder of a meaningful existence.
